The Train.
It was not so horrible once we got to sleep, but now I know why Pastor Yohanne kept feeling bad for us. It was a very dramatic experience being in the train, because I felt like I was being sent away to a Siberian jail or something. I slept on the top bunk, right beside the dusty fan attached to the ceiling, and it wasn't such a pleasant experience but I was able to sleep through it anyway. I did taste dust in my mouth when I woke up but I might have just imagined it in my head. I had a series of dreams that I can't remember, but it was very emotional and theatrical, mixed in with all the train station noises. Anyway, I'm glad we got to experience it nonetheless.

These are the dusty fans I was talking about.
The Hotel.
Now we're checked in at a hotel. Well, it definitely doesn't fit into my former idea of a hotel, but it is such luxury to be here, especially after that train ride. I imagine this is what the inside of those vintage motels on Spadina must look like. Well, we are definitely going to need our sleeping bags tonight.
